¬ABOUT THE HOUSE...   
                                              

This beautifully designed self contained beach house will sleep 4-6 people. It has a fully equipped kitchen, open plan living area and two bedrooms which comfortably sleeps 4 people. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds with trundles so an additional 2 people can squeeze in! There are 2 parking areas, one a covered car port and one off street car park.

Ceiling fans in all the rooms provide cool circulating air and comfort during summer and natural gas heating, in addition to a wood heater, creates a lovely warm atmosphere for those cold winter months.

bbq_tablebbq_areaThe open living area faces north onto a large deck which overlooks an expansive garden with views through to the bay and leads into your private BBQ and courtyard area.

The house also caters for people with disabilities or those with mobility problems .The house is accessible by ramp and the bathroom has full wheelchair capability. Both the toilet and shower are equipped with hand rails approved to national standards. 

Our beach house is situated on the corner of Clarke and Simson Streets, at the eastern end of Portarlington. It’s a 15 minute leisurely walk into town and only metres away from the beach and coastal walking track. This leads you along a picturesque route to the pier where you can fish, purchase mussels or just enjoy the activity on the pier.

The township of Portarlington offers an array of shops, cafes and restaurants, supermarket, newsagency, post office, the Grand Hotel and much more. Great golf courses, tennis courts, bowling club, indoor swimming pool, and Adventure Park are all very accessible and welcoming - not to mention a safe environment for your children to enjoy. There are many local wineries, farms and nurseries offering local produce, wine tasting and delectable dining adventures only minutes away. 

The Great Ocean Road and surf coast beaches are only 20 minutes away with the surf outlets in Torquay and the beauty of the Great Ocean Road and Otway ranges to tempt you.
